About Band
Bobb...besides playing bass and the occasional keyboard part....does all the recording, mixing down and CD burning (yep every jam ends up on a CD!).. He also puts the artwork (supplied by Dave) and CD cases together. He's the band archivist too....the ultimate authority on everything Trio.
Dave plays guitar and guitar synth heard on Trio tunes.....and renders all of the rather strange and bizarre drawings seen on this site and on our CD cases. Most of the ideas for our tunes originate with him as well....so he's the man behind the riffs.
Fil (that's me!) is responsible for all the drumming and banging that you hear....and i maintain this web page too....so if you hear or see it here....it's my fault.
Fred "joined" the "band" in the fall of 2010. What actually happened was we invited him to one of our jams and it sounded good. So we told him he had to keep coming back or we would swipe his favourite fishing rod and keep it hostage. He plays electric and acoustic guitar and will probably add some synth as well.
The 4 of us come up with titles and names and Bobb applies them to the jams and tunes later as he sees fit (and it seems that most of them do capture the spirit of the music.)
So we're a completely "indie" band folks.....we do it all! From playin to postin'.
