Pirate Bio

We're the unsigned pirates, acoustic sex rock 5 piece currently touting our wares around the UK. As a group the pirates have undergone a few big changes recent. It started out with one Andy S and Mark E originally going under the name 'unscene', darker days...

Since our early unscene days, we've both been playing in other set ups, and gaining experience, before reuniting to do some open mic nights around blackpool and preston, in late 2005. Add a couple of broken hearts, some heavy nights on the pop, stirring in one Shenkorino, and me and mark started making music again

Since then we've been playing gigs all over the show, getting plenty of experience under our belts. Originally we just banged out covers, but after a 1 month crash course in guitar playing, Cash wrote his first track 'without you' in december. Thats sort of where we started to come good, the track was popular, we got more gigs, etc etc.

The pirates are: 
Cash  - Vocals / Rythm Guitar- 'Andy S'

Punctually late and smokes too much. Songwriter and driving force behind the pirates, hugely infulenced by the likes of u2 and johnny cash. His ambition is to one day support u2 live, and crack out a with or without duet...He needs a haircut more than mark

Mark E - Lead & Rythm Guitar -

23 year old love child of albert einstien and jim royle Easy going lover not a fighter bloke. Hugely influenced by the likes of oasis and bon jovi. He thinks hes the bad boy of the group 

Shenko  - Vocals - 'Lizardcat'

Shenko Aka Kirsty Aka Andys little sis. A cracking voice, cracking looker, cracking lass, the mother of the pirates, keeps us all in tow and ensures Andy stays under the limit on out of town gigs.

Ollie Brown - Bass Guitar -

Young Oliver is one of the newer additions to the band. All in all top banana musician and fella, do not be fooled however, Ollie Brown is originally from fleetwood and a bit of a boy racer at heart. Ability to whip out a cracking cover of follow me though.

Lemons - Keys - 'Magic Hands'

The wonderful Liam is another of the pirates 2007 additions. Adding a fantastic new dimension to the pirates with his dancing fingers on the keyboard. Cracking musician, bit of a monster after stella number 6 though.
