The CEO, MICHAEL POWELL dba THIRD DIRECTION STUDIOS, composes for feature films, short films, commercials, DVDs, CDs, private and corporate projects, radio, television, broadband internet radio, voice overs, and for existing artists bands or groups. Equipped to  interface with projects globally, THIRD DIRECTION STUDIOS have computer, scaner, copier, 'SKYPE' for conference calls, telephone and fax lines, CD mastering and duplication equipment, and a professional recording studio in a comfortable location situated within a 3700 acre nature preserve with accomodations attached for overnight or short-term lodging during recording projects. MICHAEL POWELL has decades of personal experience in the music industry and the film industry, writing for and performing with; as well as recording with; internationally recognized music stars, some of whom have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has owned and/or co-operated "Indie" Labels in Hollywood and elsewhere since the early 1980's, including Third Direction Records, located in Surrey, England, and Mystic Records in Hollywood, California. His taped recordings and signed lyric sheets have been purchased for display by the museum curator. Chrissie Hynde, of The Pretenders, first began her singing career with Michael Powell, blossoming from there, as did Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale, Bob Mothersbaugh (all of Devo fame) and others, to whom Michael Powell has been a contributing artist, songwriter, musician or collaborator. Further, Michael Powell, through his art studios, creates storyboards, overhead diagrams and shot lists for feature films and shorts, for directors and film companies located primarily in California; he illustrates children's books and graphic novels for authors around the world.  Both, THIRD DIRECTION RECORDS and THIRD DIRECTION STUDIOS, are capable of providing clients with exactly what they need in the quickest possible time, with professional results always; and, because of our low overhead, we are able to quote a lower budget to you.
