I  would like to share with you my gift of singing and songwriting in my new release “Falling in Love Again”. Released January of this year in Honolulu, Hawaii this album takes you on a journey of love, heartbreak, hope and rediscovery hence the lyrical content on each track. It conveys through song the challenges that are faced in life and how they have given me the opportunity to express myself through song and poetic prose. “Love Shouldn’t Hurt So Bad” and “It Wasn’t Worth The Pain” was written in the earlier stages of my journey. “Lord I’m Calling You and Sometimes I Wonder” were written when it became clear to me that GOD was not allowing these things to happen to me but for my personal growth. I hope to use my music as therapy to minister to those with similar life experiences. I also want to convey to my listeners that despite the challenges incurred along the way; there truly is hope for healing, finding peace and ultimately finding love again as delivered in “Falling In Love Again and I Can Be Your Queen”. I also introduce a hint of Central American essence with Spanish vocals in the song “Te Quiero.”

Born in Queens New York, I have always had singing and songwriting in my heart and as my passion since childhood as noted in “This Has Been My Dream.” I began playing the piano at age five and wrote and published my first song in 1989. I enjoy writing all of my music and hope to release the remaining 150 compositions in the near future.   I am a proud mother and also serve our country as a member of the Armed Forces until my retirement date in a year. Hawaii is my home now where I  will continue to promote my  music to support the local Women’s Shelter. 

My musical influences have always been Angela Windbush, Shirley Murdock, Alyson Williams, Albertina Walker and a host of other Artists from mixed genres. This album is a lyrical blend of Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Jazz and Funk interjecting soothing vocals that tell a story of my life. I attribute my healing to the blessings of my Creator. “Falling In Love Again” will allow you to experience these blessings as you join me on my journey of hope and rediscovery.
