 Turkestan Road is a Progressive Metal/Psychedelic Rock band based in Phoenix, AZ. We're a three-piece group that attempts to combine the down-tuned crunch and distortion of metal with diverse and ecclectic influences from around the world. We sound like (and have been compared to) everyone from Tool, System of a Down, Primus, and Black Sabbath... to Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Rush, and The Doors. It is our hope that you find our music stimulating, fresh, and a lot of fun... take it easy, y'all! I hope to hear from some of you in the near future.
