About Band
Twenty One Twelve is a four piece hard rock band from Alexandria, LA. The band uses their unique version of high energy rock to connect to all people from all walks of life. With all of the music being shoved in your face today, Twenty One Twelve provides an alternative to those who are tired of being torn down by negativity of today's standards. Their contemporary rock sound has drawn comparisons to great artist from Nickelback to Creed. Along the way we've shared the stage with bands like Papercut Massacre, Pillar, Seventh Day Slumber, Two Empty Chairs, and SuperChick.
The single "Give Me Strength" off our current EP hit 192 on the US CHR Rock Radio Charts (MediaBase) thanks to our great fans and our great radio promoter Howard Rosen. Twenty One Twelve is heard on nearly 300 radio stations across the US including Rock, CHR and CCM formats.
Twenty One Twelve has just finished recording an eight song, self-titled EP with Grammy nominated, Dove Award winning artist Barry Blair (founding guitarists/songwriter from Audio Adrenaline and producer for Bleach, Slingshot 57, Air Five). The experience of working with a talent like Barry introduced the band to a musical world that they had never before encountered.
These new musical revelations can be experienced throughout every track of their new project from the pounding guitars in "Cast Your Stone" or the melodious string arrangements in "Calling Out Again." With songs like "Take My Sin Away" and "Give Me the Strength" listeners are reminded to take solace in grace and love. While the song "Don't Just Stand There" reminds everyone to take a stand and visibly show love through actions as well as words. Also included on the EP, are two of the bands earlier recordings, "Selfless" and "Rescue", which show the band's unique musical beginnings, and also showcases how they have continued to grow and develop their music. Lyrically and musically, there is certain to be something that everyone can relate to on their new EP.
Fall 2009 finds the band managed by Prodigal Son Entertainment and another EP scheduled for release late fall 2009. Keep your ear open for our new tunes to rock your world.
