Including ex-members of bands like The Revival Grenade, Machine Massacre, Modern Maybe, and Seveneves; While Animals Ate Them "formed" in the summer of 2008, under the already-established name The Giving Tree. Timy, Tai, and Jeff met in a barn every week and started playing music together. The talks of a new band was present, but the priority was developing chemistry and writing songs. Six months and many members later, with a full line-up and a new name, While Animals Ate Them has begun working on their first release. Look for it, along with local performances, during the summer of '09.
