            Whizker Bizket was formed in the summer of 2004. They are one of the hard to find bands that still play the good-stuff from the 70's till the present, as well as their own original music. The Trio are professionals, and very experienced in the world of music and stage performance, just check out the bios below and the photos at the bottom.

            Brian Barnhouse (Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar): Brian has played over 1200 nights of live shows in both the USA and Canada. Bands to include are CrossFyre, Fast4Ward, The Nebraska Band, Zipper, The Rayze, Mother Tung, Jane Doe, MidLife Crisis and now Whizker Bizket. Brian is an accomplished guitarist, bassist, songwriter and lyricist. Brian received an "Honorable Mention", in the 15th Annual Mid-Atlantic song contest, in the Rock Category with his original song "Solid Ground". He was also a finalist in the "Kick Start Your Career" contest sponsored by "Motley Crue".

 

            Previous bands have opened for Jackyl, Quiet Riot, Kansas, Foghat, Jimmy Van Zandt, The Wolf (a remnant of Steppenwolf) and many other regional and local bands.

 

 

            Frank Clarke a.k.a "Sparky" (Guitar and Vocals): Frank has played over 1000 nights live throughout the midwest and southwest with Squadron, Talon, Blastwagon, Escape, MidLife Crisis and now with Whizker Bizket. Frank's previous bands have opened for acts such as Z.Z. Top, Foghat, The Romantics and many other regional and local bands.

 

            Frank's diverse style of guitar playing has made him a highly sought after guitar instructor in the southeast Nebraska area. His music influences include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoades, Carlos Santana and Lynnard Skynnard.

 

            Rick Buchanan a.k.a. "BATMAN" (Percussion and Vocals): Rick has played over 1000 nights of live shows throughout the midwest. Rick has performed with Ice Cold Fire, Outta the Blue, Blastwagon, Bandit, The Fundamentals, DownHome, Uncle MEAT, Rukus, MidLife Crisis and now is the backbeat for Whizker Bizket.

 

            Rick has been schooled in concert, classical, marching, jazz, swing and rock drumming. He has also been a qualified and demanded studio session drummer. His music influences include Buddy Rich, Phil Ehart, Neil Peart and way too many other artists to list.

 

            Rick has opened for and performed with Nazareth, Kansas, George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Steppenwolf, Marshall Tucker and many other regional and local bands.

 

            Our Awesome Crew: I would be neglectful if I did not mention the fantastic bunch of guys that we have crew for us. These guys make little money for the time they put in and their efforts.... so, here we go!

           

            Kelly Clapper: Sound and Sound Reinforcement Setup.

            Chunk: Gaffer and Lighting, General Back Breaking Work.
