Wicked Empathy was started by, Dylan Kusz and Daniel Dinsmore one evening while they were sitting in Kusz' room.  Kusz came up with and idea to start a band cause hes always wanted to be a lead singer, and Dan played guitar.  So it happened they chose their positions and Lead Vocals (Kusz) and Lead Guitar (Dan).  The bands lyrics focus on deaths of loved ones, loved ones leaving, divorce, deaths, child abuse, and past experiences.  The next day they were thinking of names to display their musical content, they went through many names such as, Tainted Machine, Silver Dagger, Wicked Times, but it wasn't until later they found out what "empathy" means (peaceful thoughts) and so they put "wicked" (evil thoughts) in front of it.  They got Wicked Empathy, which displays their musical content to the fullest, later that year members Spencer Rowland (Rhythm Guitar, Spencer has quit though so the band is in search of a new rhythm guitar player) Nathan Peck (Bass) and Tristan (Drums). Then they thought to go away from the traditional metal-core sound and go with 2 different sounding screaming vocals, Kusz thought to himself about how this could be done to have a high pitched scream and a lower scream to have a distinct difference between the two.  So when he got home the next day he called Dan and asked him if he would like to do some backing vocals for screams.  Dan said yes so from that day forward Dan became a sort of Lead Vocals too.  Every since then they have been making music and will get songs recorded soon.  The band came up with the idea to have six songs of the CD heavy because of the word "wicked" has six letters in it, and seven of the songs heavy but more quiet then the six previous for all the letters of "empathy".  It is a goal to have every band member have a side project (another band) which Kusz already has its known as Dry Fountain and will be a quieter sounding band such as Flaw or Hourcast
