January 2005 not only started out a new year, but also gave birth to one of the Fredericksburg area's hardest hitting bands WICKED STICK. Guitarist Danny Watts and Drummer Donnie Wedding and Bassist David Elmore were all hungry for a new project, new shows and a new image. After months of rehearsals with their original singer, vocalist Nelson Braswell was brought in to front this powerful blend of rock,metal and punk. July of '07 brought in another line up change enter Tom Kemp on bass. The band manage to continue without missing a beat. With a high energy stage show and infectious sound they soon made their presence know. In a short time this band would not only earn the respect from many other local bands and musicians, but would soon find themselves sharing the stage with national acts such as Jackyl, L.A Guns, Dokken, Ratt and many more. With a full length CD released in fall '07, Wicked Stick is looking forward to leaving the crowd's wanting more.

Looking forward to 2008 we have come full circle with our music maturing this past year into something we never imagined. We are hitting the studio in Jan to lay down the new materials for many of you that have seen us in the past several months you have been able to hear the new stuff first hand and for those of you haven't guess you will have to come to the next show to hear it.
