are building a reputation as passionate, fun-loving,
musical renegades, with a lot to say and a
very unique way of saying it.
The founder and soul behind X.E-L.A & The
U.F.O Acid Godz is Newfoundland singer/songwriter
Alex Gillard, known for his creative, sincere lyrics
and intense live performances, he is no stranger to the stage.
Writing music since the age of 14, Gillard has
managed to release a staggering amount of
material in every genre imaginable, ranging
from Electronica to Metal, Folk, Hip hop,
Instrumental, and Bluegrass, not to mention everything in
between. Unbelievably, he did it all by himself from a tiny
bedroom... until now.
With the help of an "All Star" production team,
including Jack Macassic, Scott Hammond and
the Juno award winning Wade Pinhorn, backing
him up, Alley is hitting the studio for his first
full length commercial release titled X.E-L.A
& The U.F.O Acid Godz (Pt 1).
The album will contain 12 songs written
entirely by Gillard, including the already
infamous tracks: From the moon, Freedoms
March, The Cabin Song, Drop Me off in Space
and The Battle of 2012.
So with just a few months left in the countdown
to the release of X.E-L.A & The U.F.O Acid Godz
all that’s left to be said is get ready! Because the
face of the folk music is about change drastically...
